EDNA Myanmar is a social enterprise that educates entrepreneurs and researches entrepreneurship across Myanmar. Some of our recent activities and highlights include:
• Nearly 11,000 entrepreneurs ( over 80% women) completed our six-week introductory course (Understanding different elements of business)
• Nearly 8,000 entrepreneurs completed our full six-month program
• 250 people developed their skills as entrepreneurship educators and acknowledged as change agents by community leaders and government officials

• We are responsible for the launch of over 1,500 enterprises across Myanmar
• We have helped over 2,500 enterprises to create job and be profitable and sustainable
• We have assisted close to 6,200 enterprises to grow their activities
EDNA Myanmar is a social enterprise that educates entrepreneurs and researches entrepreneurship across Myanmar. Some of our recent activities and highlights include:
• Nearly 400 external business leaders participated as speakers in our Enterprise Development Day events during the past five years.
• We continue to work towards the sustainability of EDNA Myanmar, building strong relationships with the ministries, the private sector and the education sector.
• We have demonstrated our impact through independent data collection at the baseline and endline of our program. In addition, a weekly and scheduled M&E of the participants’ business progress is also conducted throughout the program.
We provide Entrepreneurship Education and Enterprise Development Support to women, young adults and disadvantaged groups across Myanmar.

On the 19th of June 2017, Ministry of Industry, Department of Industries Supervision and Inspection, Department of Small and Medium Enterprise Development and Entrepreneurship Development Network Asia (Myanmar) Co., Ltd. held a strategy workshop for the implementation of “Entrepreneurship Education and Enterprise Development Project” across Myanmar.
The workshop is intended to implement two years plan in entrepreneur’s development strategy project for the staff from SMEs.
EDNA Myanmar will host “Enterprise Development Myanmar: A Day for Entrepreneurs” On Saturday the 11th of February 2017. It will be a day of learning, networking and facilitating entrepreneurs from EDNA Myanmar’s “Grass roots entrepreneurship and enterprise development project.”
The “Grass roots entrepreneurship and enterprise development project” was funded by LIFT and implemented by The University of Sydney Business School’s Entrepreneurship & Innovation Group with EDNA Myanmar.
