National MSMEs Product Trade Fair and Contest was held in Nay Pyi Taw from March 22nd to 24th 2019 by Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Working Committee.
The vice president of Myanmar gave an opening remark at the event. In his opening remark the vice president highlighted the importance of MSMEs for Myanmar’s economy as 99% of the economy comprises of MSMEs.
On the 19th of June 2017, Ministry of Industry, Department of Industries Supervision and Inspection, Department of Small and Medium Enterprise Development and Entrepreneurship Development Network Asia (Myanmar) Co., Ltd. held a strategy workshop for the implementation of “Entrepreneurship Education and Enterprise Development Project” across Myanmar.
The workshop is intended to implement two years plan in entrepreneur’s development strategy project for the staff from SMEs.
EDNA Myanmar will host “Enterprise Development Myanmar: A Day for Entrepreneurs” On Saturday the 11th of February 2017. It will be a day of learning, networking and facilitating entrepreneurs from EDNA Myanmar’s “Grass roots entrepreneurship and enterprise development project.”
The “Grass roots entrepreneurship and enterprise development project” was funded by LIFT and implemented by The University of Sydney Business School’s Entrepreneurship & Innovation Group with EDNA Myanmar.
