Empowering Entrepreneurs & Workforce Readiness Across Myanmar

The LGT program _Learning and Growing Together

Since 2018, EDNA Myanmar, in collaboration with Moving Forward Together Social Enterprise (MFT SE) and the Swiss Academy for Development (SA4D), has been fostering business knowledge and workforce readiness through practical, market-driven learning programs.

A key milestone of this partnership was the the YEEA (Young Entrepreneurs for Ecological Alternative) Project, which led to the development of the Basic Business Knowledge (BBK) curriculum. Designed for real-world application, this curriculum continues to be delivered across Myanmar, supported by Training of Trainers (ToT) programs that build local capacity and expand outreach.

Scaling Sustainable Training & Business Networks in 2024

Building on this foundation, SA4D, MFT SE, and EDNA Myanmar relaunched and expanded efforts in 2024 under the Learning and Growing Together (LGT) program. Through this initiative, BBK ToT graduates have established regional training centers, independently offering BBK and Job Readiness Skill Development courses.

These centers operate with a self-sustaining model, combining affordable course fees with business partnerships, ensuring long-term viability while making practical education accessible to regional youth.

Strengthening Business & Market Access Partnerships

The LGT program is committed to creating real-world market linkages by collaborating with leading business networks and distribution channels:

  • PSY Myanmar Distribution Company, with branch offices in 10 major cities, joined as a strategic partner in 2024, facilitating product distribution and market access for aspiring entrepreneurs.
  • Myanmars Net, through msme.shwe.net (Myanmar MSME Help Center), provides business information and technology support, ensuring LGT trainees have access to market insights, online tools, and ongoing business guidance.

Partner With Us for Scalable Impact

The LGT program is growing, and we are looking for entrepreneurs, training providers, and business professionals interested in establishing social enterprise-driven training centers in their regions.

If you see value in building human capital, bridging skills gaps, and supporting business growth, we invite you to collaborate with us. Let’s create sustainable business learning ecosystems that empower Myanmar’s youth while ensuring long-term economic resilience.
